Aaron Brown
Aaron and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 1999 and have three wonderful children: Kaitlyn, Zachary, and Hannah. Aaron is looking forward to the joys and challenges of planting a new church in the Hobbs Island community. He is passionate about marriage and family ministry and believes the family unit is vital to the health of the local church. Aaron graduated from Liberty University with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling in 2013 and will graduate from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Family Ministry in May 2019. He is excited to see what God has in store for the community through the ministries of Hobbs Island Church.
Anna Lawler
Worship Leader
Anna and her husband, Wesley, have been married since 2000 and have 2 delightful children: Elijah and Sadie. She received her Degree in Nursing from Wallace State in 2003 and has always had a desire to serve others. Anna has been actively involved at Hobbs Island Church since its inception. She has served in numerous church ministry roles over the years, with involvement in Music Ministry as a pianist, choir member, and praise team vocalist. She is enthusiastic to lead others in authentic worship to bring glory to the one true God.
Karon Howard
Children’s Director
Karon and her husband Jared have been married since 2005. They have 4 wonderful children: Aiden, Ethan, Jamison, and Annie. Karon has a passion for training children to follow God.Throughout her life, the church has been instrumental in her spiritual development. As a child, she learned about Christ through children’s and bus ministries offered by the church. The dedication of the children’s and youth workers resulted in Karon receiving Christ as her Savior. As a result, she is inspired to love children and to teach children about Christ. She desires to encouarge and teach parents how to train their children in Christ.
